The Last Five Years
Jamie is a writer whose star is on the rise. Cathy is a struggling actress. With narratives that move gracefully in opposite directions, Jamie tells their story from first infatuation, while Cathy moves backward in time from the closing notes of their marriage. This musical journey through their relationship—in all its elation and heartbreak—captures the beauty of being in love, no matter how fleeting.
