Acting and Audition Methods: Intensive Workshop
Description
Students work on self- selected monologues in order to learn about character development and stage presence . We provide a safe environment where you can take risks and learn about:
Business aspects of acting such as photos, resumes, agents, etc.
Physical and vocal skills
Relaxation, focus, concentration
How to audition
How to make the most of your rehearsals
How to have fun and reconnect with your creative instincts
Teaching is based on a realistic, naturalistic approach to stage acting through text analysis skills. Class size is limited to assure individualized and personalized attention.
This class is for educational purposes only and will not secure or guarantee opportunities for employment in the field or representation by an agent.
Classes are designed for adult students, age 19 and older. No prior experience is needed. Previous students are welcome.
