6-Session Playwriting Workshop: Dramatic Deadlines
Description
This six session workshop focuses on workshopping writing in progress with an emphasis on development and revision. The course will provide writing exercises and supportive feedback to help you grow as a playwright. Additional exercises to generate new ideas will also be provided.
The course will include writing prompts and opportunities to share writing and receive feedback from the instructor and group.
Participants should bring writing materials to class, paper/pen or laptop/tablet.
Everyone will be given a date to share a 15-20 minute excerpt of their writing.
Each participant must submit a 5-10 page writing sample to jjones@actorstheatre.org to confirm registration.
Classes are filled on a first-come basis. Each student works at his or her own skill level and pace. Classes are held in the Administration Building at 315 W. Market St., Louisville. We reserve the right to cancel this class and return application fees based on a minimum number of registrations.
